So Those Who Get Somwhere Are Those...

...who are truly willing to devote themselves to a cause or an ideal. Either the cause that they will accomplish a particular goal or task, or the ideal from which they hold themselves on a higher platter then often they themselves are willing to admit. They wish to strive for that ideal self, even if they don't become that "perfect being" in the process. It's sort of like chasing something that can't be caught really. But in the process of attempting to catch it, your leg muscles grow stronger, your mind is cleared of all other distractions. You're just running forward attempting to grasp what is forever out of your reach. Or what may seem out of your reach.

I start to think rather metaphorically when such topics arise. Maybe the whole point of life is just to see how much we can experience and accomplish before the timer runs out. The real scary thing is we never know when the alarm is going to go off and we're forced to leave this world behind. Not to mention that there may not be another world beyond this one (but that's for a completely different entry all together). We have very little time.

Might as well make someone proud while I'm here.

Luke: "You already have, young padawan. Your level-headed approach for writing a female lead is inspiring to all Jedi.
Me: "Really?"
Luke: "No. Go get me a sandwhich with eggs, bacon... and ham!"
